Indian women normally wear two type of clothing , the first one is called Ethnic Indian clothes which includes sarees,salwar suits, readymade dresses and the bridal dress also known as chania choli /Ghaghara Choli / Lehanga etc and the second one is the western clothing like Jeans, T shirts, Capri Etc.

a) Sarees: Saris are made up of many fabrics like cotton, silks, georgettes, crepes, synthetic , net, shimmer and many more fabric. The latest fabric in fashion is net, shimmer, georgette and silk. Now a day half net and half georgette Saris or half sari of one fabric and half of the other fabric is also in fashion.
Sarees normally contains hand work on them in very beautiful patterns and the latest work in fashion includes diamond work, silver kasab work, stones, sworskeys, crystals etc. The color in fashion is deep pastel colors and lots of odd colors like chocolate, wine, magenta, shades of pinks and greens etc.
b) Lehanga: Lehanga or Ghagra choli is a traditional bridal dress worn by Indian ladies at the time of there marriage. This dress consists of one blouse, one skirt (chaniya) and one shawl (dupatta or odhni).
The most common colors in use are combinations of Red and Green, Red and white, Mustard and Red etc. Now a days the brides likes to experiment with new colors like wine, shades of greens or pinks, blues, beige etc.
The latest trend is 3 color or 2 color sets like lehenga and dupatta in one color and the blouse in other or all the three pcs in contrast colors.
